Population One Autism Adversity and the Will to Succeed Tyler McNamer Tyler Tichelaar 9781938686542 Books Reviews

  • I have a 14 year old son with Autism. I saw this book posted on Facebook and bought it immediately. I love Tyler's positive attitude and his views on the world. I know that autism effects people differently. I did see similar views that my son has. The book gave me another perspective of how my son sees things. I took so much from this book in helping my own son and myself with the positives of life. Thank You Tyler for writing such an inspiring book!
  • Wonderful book. I have two autistic grandsons. They are high functioning. This young man is wonderful.
  • This book is for everyone, not just those directly affected by autism. I have been around many autistic kids at an equine therapy program my horse works for and this book has helped me to improve my communication with the participants.
  • Bought this for my 14 year old son who is autistic. He is enjoying reading it, and it helps to know that someone else is dealing with the same issues.
  • The simple wisdom in this book is not only inspiring but shows such complexity from such simple statements. I challenge anyone to read this book and not find it life changing.
I appreciated this book so much that I bought 10 more copies (this order) to share with a book club in which I participate. I am excited to be able to share Tyler's life. As a mom of an autistic son it gives me hope that he truly can achieve his dreams!

  • I thoroughly enjoyed this glimpse into Tyler's mind. He recounts childhood experiences, what other kids said about his actions and his reactions to those others. What a great kid! I wish I knew him.
  • Good read! Highly recommend to a Secondary Aspie to read
  • I bought this book for my 19 yo autistic grandson and the ebook for myself. Tyler writes exactly as he thinks and the book will help you understand how he thinks in relation to someone without autism. That is exactly why I purchased this book. It is helping me understand my precious grandson more than I ever have. He is such a wonderful gift to me as is Tyler"s very special book. Tyler has more than earned the price of his book. It's a good read!
