A Misconception of Loyalty edition by Janae Keyes Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

  • This book was full of suspense, action and a love story of two broken people that didn't believe in love until they found each other. They thought it was lust at first sight, When the realized that it was love, they had to fight for it. Great book, I highly recommend it
  • This is a no for me. You are a grown woman but you let your dad talk you into dating, getting engaged and let’s not forget the blow jobs and sex! No ma’am!!! For money, to keep the business in the family but you have degrees from Harvard, Yale and every other Ivy League school and then you turn around and sleep with the main character instantly who should have also been turned off by this thottie behavior, that’s a whore in my opinion. Used to like this author, no more
  • I ordered this based solely on the synopsis which sounded very exciting. And this the first time I've read anything by this author. I have to say the execution was not the best. An FBI agent goes undercover to investigate a Tech Co. Along the way he falls for the daughter of the company's owner. There was more sex between the agent and the daughter than actual investing. A major peeve was the sexual assault at gun point no less. This happened a couple of times.
This could have been so much better. ..
  • This was a good read. I really liked both main characters, Dani and Csrter.
If there is any complaint, I didn't like how easily Dani allowed Carter to become sexually forward with her. They had only just met; I thought that wasn't realistic.
Otherwise, the storyline was decent. Although, I can't imagine a loving husband and parent agreeing to some of that mess.I
    Anyway, a decent read.
  • The first half of this book I was furious with Dani for allowing all the atrocities to take place, and her being both a pawn and a victim. I didn't like Dani at all, and expected more from an educated woman. The second half of the book I got to know a better side of her- ie truly loving Carter, and finding Grandma. I started liking her more and more. So, a tiger can change its stripes! Dani did! It broke my heart when Carter cried (no spoiler, but captivating scene). Grandma was pure gold in this story-humorous, warm, smart. Audrey was a bff to the max-awesome! She was supportive and a great sounding board. I liked seeing Dani's dad redeem himself. The ending was sheer bliss. Loved it. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book and am giving an honest review.
  • I really enjoyed this story. While Dani was a strong woman, the things she went through at the hands of her father was too much. Carter was great but I wished he could have saved from the abuse from Tyrone. Maybe I missed it but they never revealed who was Tony's contact in the FBI. All in all it was good story.
  • This was a kind of nice story. I am glad her father is no longer here. He said he loved her, you couldn't prove that to me. He sold his daughter for his life and money. If that is love, count me out. I hope Tony doesn't get off. He said he knew people in the FBI. If he knew people in the FBI, he knew people in law enforcement that could lose evidence. I know this is fiction, but this stuff happens in real life. Dani' s loyalty was a misconception.
  • Im sorry but this story cpuld have been good but omg dani was dumb i mean dumb dumb. Wow what a stupid weak women i had to scroll alot yhrew it cause i couldnt take it what. Kind of woman who would be l loyal to a father wjo pimps her out and only chose to fight when she finds he killer her mom . But shes smart and a go getter in bizzness really ? I hate not finnishing a book but this was garbage not her best work.
